# About Radon Roster

Radon Roster is an independent directory of radon professionals certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP). It is built for Pennsylvania homeowners, home buyers and sellers, landlords and real estate agents who need to find a certified radon tester or mitigation contractor, and for radon professionals who want their public listing to be accurate.

## What you will find here

* 414 DEP-certified radon testing, mitigation and laboratory firms, grouped by [county](https://radonroster.com/pa/counties/) and [city](https://radonroster.com/pa/cities/), each with its DEP certification IDs and a link to the source list.
* County and city radon statistics computed from PA DEP's public Radon Test Results dataset ([radon levels by county](https://radonroster.com/pa/radon-levels-by-county/)).
* Plain-language guides: [what radon is](https://radonroster.com/what-is-radon/), [testing vs mitigation](https://radonroster.com/testing-vs-mitigation/), [typical costs](https://radonroster.com/radon-mitigation-cost/) and [real estate disclosure](https://radonroster.com/pa/real-estate-radon-disclosure/).

## Independence

Radon Roster is not affiliated with PA DEP, EPA or any contractor. A listing is not an endorsement. Free listings are ordered by location and name, never by payment, and any future paid placement will be labeled "Ad". Read [how we make money](https://radonroster.com/how-we-make-money/) and [about our data](https://radonroster.com/about-our-data/) for the full methodology.

## Status

The site is a draft preview and has not launched. Quote and listing-claim forms are placeholders that do not send anything yet. Questions or corrections: see the [contact page](https://radonroster.com/contact/).
